282 Effects of zinc in the progression of squamous cell carcinoma

چکیده

Zinc is a trace element that requires for more than 2000 transcription factors regulating cell development, differentiation, and growth of many types including cancer cells. Prior studies reported zinc induced apoptosis in cells, such as glioma, bladder, prostate, breast, melanoma. The effects cutaneous squamous carcinoma (SCC) have not been formally assessed. Two SCC lines (A431 HSC-5) were cultured serum free medium with different concentration zinc. TPEN was used to chelate when the tumor cells containing some experiments. (1, 10, 100 μg/dl) significantly inhibits proliferation at 48 hours 72 dose dependent manner (p<0.05). Effects on migration evaluated by scratch assay. Chelation (2μM) delayed wound closure A431 On other hand, addition accelerates HSC-5 compared control condition We also expression MMPs vitro. Cancer utilize matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) invade surrounding tissues. acts co-factor MMPs, whereas can alter their expression. Our previous study revealed human tissue expressed variety during progression. For instance, MMP9 actinic keratosis, an early region SCC, increased invasive SCC. prostate suppressed supplementation mRNA will be discussed. These results may increase our understanding role

Role of Brg1 in progression of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Objective(s): Epigenetic regulation of gene expression can be carried out through chromatin remodeling enzymes such as SWI/SNF. Brg1 also known as SMARCA4 is a catalytic subunit of SWI/SNF, which is necessary for MMPs expression. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are known as important player enzymes during tumor progression and metastasis. Aberrant epigenetic modification of chromatin should be...

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

The Usefulness of CD10 in Distinguishing between Cutaneous Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Background & Objectives:  CD10 is a cell surface enzyme with metalloendopeptidase activity, also known as Common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia Antigen, which mainly serves as a marker for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). To date and to the best of our knowledge, only few comparative immunohistochemical studies have assessed CD10 expression in cutaneous epithelial neoplasms. Our goal was to d...

ZNF282 (Zinc finger protein 282), a novel E2F1 co-activator, promotes esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Zinc finger protein 282 (ZNF282) is a newly identified transcription factor and little is known about its expression and function. Originally, ZNF282 is known to bind U5RE (U5 repressive element) of HLTV-1 (human T cell leukemia virus type 1) with a repressive effect. Recently we reported that ZNF282 functions as an estrogen receptor co-activator and plays an essential role in breast tumorigene...
